Whether you ride english or western, competitively or recreationally, your seat is your most important communication tool. Your seat is the primary connection that you have with your horse. Great communication is built on a solid, dependable seat. When you sit on a horse, you need to become a part of the horse, moving when he moves, going where he goes, feeling what he feels. Do you have the balance to ride your horse... wherever and however he goes? Are you riding in rhythm... with your horse's body, thoughts, and emotions? Can you time your aids (reins, legs, seat, weight, etc)... with your horse's feet, weight, thoughts, and emotions? Do you ride with self-carriage... so that your horse can do the same? Do you have the soft, steady hands... of a horseman? These qualities can be developed. You can learn how to become a part of your horse. You owe it to your horse to be the best rider you can be. Once you are a great rider, great communication comes much easier. Available through his home facility, Equestrian Endeavors Natural Horsemanship Center, Patrick is now offering you the chance to develop your most important communication tool - your seat. Bring your horse along with you and you will be exposed to ideas, techniques, and exercises for building your seat and your confidence as a rider. Once you have a solid seat and confidence as a rider, your journey along the path of horsemanship will be much smoother - you will be well on your way to becoming a horseman. Classes run as follows: * Stay tuned to Patrick's schedule page to see when classes are scheduled.
